Vegetables
Beginning in June and ending at Thanksgiving, we sell our vegetables at farmers markets and through Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). CSA members enroll and pay in advance of the season to allow us to buy supplies for the upcoming season. Once the season comes we deliver a weekly share of seasonal vegetables to our members. To show our gratitude for the upfront support, we lower the cost of the vegetables we provide below retail, and when we have a bumper crop, our members see extra vegetables.
What you can expect to see in our CSA shares:
Leafy greens: kale, swiss chard, komatsuna, dandelion, escarole, and many others.
Broccoli, cauliflower, romanesco
Tomatoes: including some heirloom varieties
Squash: yellow, zucchini and winter varieties
Onions: regular as well as leeks and scallions
Roots: potatoes, turnips, radishes, beets, carrots
